SOUTH 7B VS NBMS

The 7B Lady Tigers took to the court last Thursday night against their crosstown rival North Belton Middle School. In the first game, the Lady Tigers started the game trading points with the North Lady Broncos but could not survive a late game rally and endured a 25-12 loss. Grace Smith was a solid player throughout the game with her ability to serve. Camile Smith and Madelyn Moreno played an excellent game at the net. The second game quickly escaped from the Lady Tigers after North Belton got off to an early start. The Lady Tigers fought back with the solid play of Alicia Howard, Haunani Aken, Melanie Mercado and Nyeli Pierluisses. Grace Smith once again lit up the scoreboard and pulled the Lady Tigers closer in a 25-11 loss. The Lady Tigers will travel to Lamar Middle School in Temple next Thursday to battle the Lady Bearcats.
