SOUTH 7B VS LAMAR

For the second week in a row, the 7B Lady Tigers went on the road. Thursday night, the Lady Tigers traveled north to face Lamar Middle School. The first game, the Lady Tigers faced a hot Lady Bearkat server who exploded for five consecutive points and managed to secure a 25-8 victory. Lady Tiger Melanie Mercado provided great on the court leadership as always. Grace Smith and Camile Smith stepped up to the challenge with solid performances. The second game was back and forth until midway into the game when the Lady Bearkats went on another run. The Bearkat’s final push led them to another victory 25-12. The Lady Tigers continued with their never give up attitude and made South Belton proud. Standout performances by Nyeli Pierluisses, Haunani Aken and Madelyn Moreno kept the Lady Tigers close.
