The 7A Lady Tigers faced Travis Middle School last Thursday in an exciting matchup!
In the opening set, the Tigers came out strong and played some of their best volleyball yet. Avery Pope and Victoria Leon did a great job leading the offense and keeping their teammates involved. After weeks of hard work in practice, Marley Davila delivered a serve over the net that fired up the team, while Annabelle Marie and Victoria Leon battled at the net to keep the momentum going. Even though Travis pulled away late to win 25–18, the Tigers proved they can compete together as a team.
The second set started close with both teams trading points. Travis built a lead, but the Tigers continued to play hard and show determination. Khiaa Robinson, Avery Lutz, and Natalie Adams hustled and helped South Belton stay in the fight before the set ended 25–11.
The Lady Tigers are improving every week and building stronger team chemistry. Next Thursday, they’ll travel to Lake Belton to take on the Lady Broncos. Come cheer on your Lady Tigers as they continue to grow in skill, confidence, and determination!
