The South Belton Lady Tigers had their home opener verse the Lady Mustangs from Travis Science Academy.
The Lady Tigers were a little off their game in the first set .They were struggling to get their serves in, and Travis took advantage taking an early lead. South found their groove and were able to rally back. The Lady tigers ended up falling short in the first set 22-25. In the second set, the serving troubles continued and they were not able to recover. Loosing the second set 16-25.
Leading the team in serving was Emily Faglie-Martinez with six service points. Harper Demontigny had four service points on the night. She was followed by Arianna Guzman with three service points. Yanilen Olivares, Avery Hoffman, and Camila Estrada all finished with one service point a piece.
These ladies will be back in action at the Belton Tournament at Belton High School on Saturday, September 20th.
