The South Belton Lady Tigers competed in the annual Belton Volleyball Tournament this past Saturday. They opened with North Belton and struggled to find their groove. Loosing the first game in two sets. Their next opponent was Lake Belton. Serving struggles continued in the first set, but they were able to get into a rhythm in the second. Unfortunately they lost the game in two sets. The final opponent was Belton Middle. South found their serve in this game, and came out strong. They came away with a win in two sets. Finishing the weekend 1-2. Bekah Martinez played well in the back row, and Avery Hoffman stepped up as an on court leader.
These ladies will be back in action on Thursday, September 25th to take on the Lady Broncos from Lake Belton.
