The Lady Tigers took on the Lake Belton Broncos in a spirited matchup but ultimately fell in straight sets. Early serve-receive struggles gave the Broncos an edge, yet once the rallies picked up, the Tigers battled back and proved they could hold their own.
Even with simple mistakes at key moments, the team’s determination never wavered. The back row was anchored by Sirin Boonkhao, Paisley Davis, and Amilyah Mitchell, whose defensive efforts kept the Tigers alive in long rallies. At the net, Arianna Dickerson and Kendyl Espino-Walker brought aggressive defense, sparking momentum for the Tigers throughout the night.
Although the Lady Tigers came up short in both sets, their grit and energy on the court showed they are ready to bounce back. The team will return to action on Thursday, October 2, against Belton Middle School at Belton High School.
