The 7A Lady Tigers faced the Lake Belton Middle School Broncos last Thursday in a tough matchup. The Broncos came ready to play, and while the game didn’t go the Tigers’ way, the girls showed determination and effort from start to finish.
In the first match, Annabelle Marie sparked the team with three points from her serve. Ariyah Schrimsher, London Buchanan, Kellie Gonzalez, and Avery Lutz also put points on the board during gameplay, giving the Lady Tigers momentum and energy on the court. The set ended 25–7 with the Broncos taking the win.
In the second match, Avery Pope and Marley Davila added points with their serving, while Ariyah Schrimsher, London Buchanan, Kellie Gonzalez, and Avery Lutz once again worked together to contribute during play. The set ended 25–9 in favor of the Broncos.
Even in difficult moments, the Lady Tigers worked to stay in the fight. Every player found ways to contribute whether through serves, passes, or play at the net. The girls are learning how to respond to challenges and use each game as an opportunity to grow.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action this Thursday as they take on Belton Middle School at Belton High School. Come out and support your Tigers!
