The South Belton Lady Tigers took on their fellow Lady Tigers from Belton Middle School at Belton High School on Thursday, October 2nd.
The first set went back and forth with both teams exchanging leads. South was able to take a lead late, and won the first set 25-22. In the second set, South was able to take an early lead and never looked back. These ladies came away with a 25-16 victory. Giving them their second win on the season.
Leading the team in serving was Aleena Chavez-Bustos with 14 points. She was followed by Emily Faglie-Martinez with 11 service points. Bekah Martinez had three points off of serves, and Harper Demontigny had two to finish the night.
South's next opponent will be the Midway Pantherettes at South Belton.
