The South Belton Lady Tigers hosted the Pantherettes from Midway Middle School on Monday, October 6th.
The first set showed struggles with serve receive by both teams. South and Midway went back and forth, with the Lady Tigers coming away with a 25-22 victory. In the second set, the Lady Tigers went on a few serving runs and came away with a second set victory 25-16. This is the third win on the season, improving their record to 3-3 in district.
Aleena Chavez-Bustos led the team in service point with 11. Emily Faglie-Martinez was right behind her with ten points off of serves. Arianna Guzman finished the night with eight service points. Camila Estrada had five service points. She was followed by Harper Demontigny with three. Avery Hoffman and Bekah Martinez finished the evening with two service points a piece.
The Lady Tigers will play their final home game on Thursday, October 26th. This will be their pink out game. Come out and support these ladies as they make a final push to the district tournament.
