Lady Tigers Take on Belton Middle School
The 7A Lady Tigers took the court on 10/2 at Belton High School to face the Belton Middle School Lady Tigers in a competitive matchup. South Belton came out strong in the first set, showing energy and teamwork that helped them keep the score close throughout the game. The girls hustled for every ball, played smart at the net, and finished the set with solid teamwork, falling 25–14.
In the second set, South Belton continued to battle and work together on the court. Despite some tough serves and quick plays from Belton, the Lady Tigers stayed positive and focused on improving each rally. The set ended 25–11 in favor of Belton, but South Belton’s effort and growth were clear from start to finish.
Avery Pope, London Buchanan, Annabelle Marie, Kellie Gonzalez, and Avery Lutz stood out for their consistent effort and strong play throughout the match. Each brought energy and leadership that helped keep the team focused and fighting until the end.
The Lady Tigers continue to grow stronger each week learning, improving, and building their confidence both individually and as a team. They should be proud of their hard work and look forward to bringing that same energy into their next matchup!
