The South Belton Lady Tigers traveled to Cove Junior High to take on the Lady Bull-pups. This was their final regular season game before the district tournament.
South came out cold in the first set, and it showed in the score. Loosing the first set 25-11. They showed a lot of improvement in the second set, but were not able to put the game away. Falling 25-18 in the second set. South finished the regular season with a record of 4-4.
Leading the team in serving with seven service points and playing a good overall game was Harper Demontigny. She was followed by Jade Cruz with five service points. Bekah Martinez, Aidelyn Macias, Emily Faglie-Martinez and Aleena Chavez-Bustos finished the night with three points a piece off of serves. Arianna Guzman had two service points, and Avery Hoffman had one.
The South Lady Tigers will be competing in the district tournament this Saturday, October 25th. Come out and support your Lady Tigers.
