On Monday, October 20, the Lady Tigers took on the Lady Bullpups from Copperas Cove Junior High in one of their toughest matchups of the season. The Lady Tigers played some of their best volleyball all year, keeping both sets close and competitive from start to finish.
In the first set, the Lady Tigers fought hard but fell just short, losing 25–22 after several long rallies and strong defensive plays. Determined to bounce back, the team set out for redemption in the second set. However, a slow start, a few costly errors, and the Lady Bullpups’ consistent offense proved too much to overcome, resulting in another narrow loss.
Standout offensive performances came from Amilyah Mitchell and Sirin Boonkhao, whose strong serving and aggressive play kept the Tigers battling throughout both sets.
Despite the loss, the Lady Tigers showed heart, grit, and major improvement — proving just how much they’ve grown this season.--
