South Belton | 12/11/2025

On Wednesday, December 11, the Lady Tigers took on the Lake Belton Lady Broncos in a tough matchup. South opened with a solid 2–3 defense, setting the tone early. Lake Belton responded with strong defensive pressure of their own, and both teams held each other scoreless through the first quarter.
As the game continued, the Lady Broncos found their rhythm, and the pace began to wear on the Tigers. Even so, the girls continued to compete and work together on both ends of the court. Alania Beck and Haunani Aken led the offense with steady scoring and effort.
Down low, Marley Davila and Jasline Martinez provided strong defensive support, battling for position, rebounds, and making key stops throughout the game. Their presence helped anchor the inside and kept South in the fight.
Although the final score didn’t go the Tigers’ way, the team showed good effort, communication, and growth. Games like this help build experience and confidence, and the girls continue to improve each time they step on the court.
Proud of the hard work, Lady Tigers!
