South Belton Tigers 8B Battle in Close Loss to River Valley
The South Belton Middle School Tigers 8B girls basketball team competed with grit and determination but came up just short in a 17–14 loss to River Valley.
Kendyl Walker-Espino led the Tigers offensively with an impressive 8 points, consistently attacking the basket and keeping South Belton within striking distance throughout the game. Additional scoring came from Hanalei Aken, Evelyn Rodas, and Aliyah Tyler, who each contributed 2 points.
The Tigers showed strong effort on both ends of the floor, playing tough defense and fighting until the final buzzer in a closely contested matchup. Despite the outcome, South Belton displayed resilience, teamwork, and continued growth.
