The South Belton 7A Lady Tigers were home against the Pantherettes of River Valley. South continues to improve every week and this week was no different. They struggled to find their offensive game, but played incredible defense holding River Valley to only 19 points for the entire game. Madison Bohannan played an inspirational role off the bench. Annabelle Marie and London Buchanan had strong game on the boards. Avery Pope, Kellie Gonzalez, and Sirianna Cazalas were all over the court. Andrea Cruz-Contreras played well on defense. Camile Smith had an incredible game, with multiple rebounds and blocks. Kinsleigh Breland had the best game of the year, playing strong defense with multiple rebounds.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Thursday, January 8th at Midway to take on the Pantherettes.
