The South Belton Lady Tigers traveled to Midway to take on the Pantherettes. These ladies came out and played incredible defense limiting Midway to only a few shots in the first half. Unfortunately the strong defense wasn't enough to get South a victor. Annabelle Marie played well on the offensive side of the ball with multiple rebounds. Avery Pope showed a lot of improvement bringing the ball up the court. The defensive stand was a complete team effort. Camille Smith had another strong rebounding night. London Buchanan, Kinsleigh Breland, Sirianna Cazalas, and Andrea Cruz-Contreras were all over the court on defense.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action at home on Thursday, January 15th. They will be taking on the Bullpups from SC Lee. Come out and support your Lady Tigers!
