The South Belton 8A Lady Tigers played their last middle school home game Thursday night against the Lady Bullpups of SC Lee Middle School. The 8A Lady Tigers stayed close all night until the fourth quarter when the numerous fouls caught up with them. The 8A Lady Tigers then let the game slip away from the tight 25-20 score at the end of the third quarter, yet continued to play nonstop till the final buzzer. The Lady Bullpups continued their aggressive play and pushed to a 42-26 victory. Harper Demontigny led the scoring with 14 points and Gelissa Nelson added 6, Arianna Dickerson dropped 4 and Emily Faglie also contributed 2. The South Belton Lady Tigers hit the road for a district matchup with the Lady Bullpups of Cove Middle School on January 21st, 2026. Please come out and support your Lady Tigers!!!
