South Belton Tigers 8B Defeat SC Lee 20–9
The South Belton Middle School Lady Tigers 8B girls basketball team earned a strong 20–9 victory over SC Lee, the Tigers played aggressive defense and consistently pressed the ball, disrupting SC Lee’s offense from start to finish. Their defensive intensity set the tone and created scoring opportunities.
Offensively, Nene Salinas led the Tigers with six points, while Kendyl Walker-Espino added four points. Harper Crawford knocked down two three-pointers, providing a big spark from beyond the arc. Evelin Rodas and Aliyah Tyler each contributed two points to round out the scoring.
Defensively, Victoria Pirir, Evelyn Garcia-Soto, Analysha Moaga, and Hannah Trevino did an excellent job locking in and making stops. Bailey Murphy, Bailey Rubio, and Hanalei Akin stood out for their effort and speed, doing a great job running the floor and maintaining energy throughout the game. It was a complete team effort and a well-earned win for the Tigers.
