SBMS 8A VS COVE

The South Belton Lady Tigers hit the road on Wednesday night to play the Lady Bullpups of Cove Middle School. The 8A Lady Tigers opened up the night with an explosive 14-1 lead in the first quarter over the Lady Bullpups. The 8A Lady Tigers never let off the gas in the second quarter adding another 13 points to build a 27-2 lead. The 8A Lady Tigers bench continued the scoring, leading to the eventual 44-9 victory. Harper Demontigny led the scoring with 12 points, Paisley Davis 10 points, Rebekah Martinez 8 points, Awnalee Rodriguez 4 points, Kendyl Walker Espino, Aidelyn Macias, Gelissa Nelson, Arrianna Dickerson and Naylia Salinas also contributed to the scoring. The South Belton Lady Tigers return home for a district matchup with the crosstown rivals of Belton Middle School on January 26th, 2026. Please come out and support your Lady Tigers!!!
