The 7th Grade B Team traveled across town to face North Belton Middle School in their first game of the season.
South Belton battled throughout the game but ultimately fell to North Belton, 20–0. Despite the result, several Tigers made important plays and continued to show effort on both sides of the ball.
Francisco Vasquez made an impact after moving to quarterback in the 3rd quarter. Vasquez made multiple big plays on both offense and defense, providing a spark for the Tigers and helping his teammates compete throughout the game.
Liam Ferguson also contributed with several strong runs, showing toughness and determination while running the football. Marcus Estrada was active on defense, recording several tackles and making plays for the Tiger defense.
The Tigers are back on the road next week as they turn their attention to the Bearcats of Lamar Middle School. The 7th Grade White Team will continue to work together, grow as a team, and represent South Belton Middle School with pride.
