?? 7B Lady Tigers Face Midway in a Tough Matchup

The Lady Tigers took the court Thursday night against Midway Middle School in a tough matchup that challenged South Belton on both sides of the ball.

In the opening set, the Lady Tigers worked to find their rhythm against a strong Midway team. In the first set Madisyn Sarinana and Cierra Alvarado provided a spark from the service line, putting together a three-point serving run and helping the Lady Tigers build momentum. South Belton continued to battle, but Midway was able to build a lead and take the first set 25–13.

The Lady Tigers entered the second set determined to keep competing, but Midway’s consistent serving and offensive pressure made it difficult for South Belton to gain momentum. Despite continuing to fight for each point, the Tigers dropped the second set 25–8.

Growth doesn’t always show up on the scoreboard. Each match gives the Lady Tigers another opportunity to identify what needs work, celebrate what is improving, and come back to practice ready to get better. This team is still building, still learning, and most importantly still fighting together. ??????
