DISTRICT XC MEET RESULTS

The South Belton Cross Country team competed in the district meet in Waco on Wednesday, 10/14. Top 15 received medals. This was their final meet of the year, and they gave it everything they had.
The seventh grade girls were the first to run. They finished 4th overall with a team score of 75La'Kenzie finished 3rd with a time of 12:49. Maggie Rodriguez finished 11th with a time of 13:52. Talia Vitaliano finished 20th with a time of 14:44. Madison Stauffer finished 23rd with a time of 15:05. Maiya Parker finished 24th with a time of 15:16. They were followed by Annabel Bohannan 15:45, Paisley Vicker 15:51, Paris Varner 16:37, Annabelle De Avila 16:45, Emmalyn Bohannan 17:26, Kamiyah Harris 17:44, Amiyah Salas-Shed 17:46, Athen Sandoval 17:55, Zyndayya Sandoval 18:11, Kimberly Rosales 18:21, Cierra Alvarado 18:43, Emily Howard 19:17, Carina Quinones 19:19, Olivia Oliver 20:17, Noelle Martinez 20:33, Annalea Leos 20:36, Chloe Vance 21:09, and Hawa Couchane 21:24.
The seventh grade boys were the second group to run. They finished 2nd overall with a score of 47. District Champion, Gerik Gerhard finished 1st overall with time of 10:58. Frncisco Vasquez finished 9th with a time of 12:48. Tyler Vanbalveren finished 10th with a time of 12:52. Connor Youngblood finished 19th with a time of 14:36. They were followed by Julian Galindo 15:56.
The eighth grade girls were up next. They finished 2nd overall with a score of 108. This is the best finish they have had all season. Siri Cazalas finished 16th with a time of 14:18. Avery Pope finished 17th with a time of 14:19. Natalie Adams finished 23rd with a time of 14:46. They were followed by Madison Bohannan 15:23, Lailah Figueroa 15:31, Kensleigh Breland 15:37, Annabelle Marie 16:02, Kellie Gonzalez 16:04, Lylah Cuellar 16:56, Marisol Patrenets 17:24, Haunani Aken 17:29, Holly Padilla 18:37, Kallie Quintanilla 19:06, and Korianna Putman 19:37.
The final race of night was the eighth grade boys. The District Campions finished 1st overall with a score of 26 points. This was second year in a row that the eighth grade boys were district champions. District Champion, Connor Dvonch finished 1st overall with a time of 10:53. Enzo Giannetti finished 4th with a time of 11:22. Nixon Williams finished 7th with a time of 11:53. Jensen Vazquez finished 8th with a time of 11:58. Romaria Medrano finished 9th with a time of 12:07. Kainoah Kiser finished 11th with a time of 12:11. They were followed by Kadon Freeman 15:33 and Derek Ruiz 16:02.
