SBMS 7B VS SC LEE

For the second week in a row, the 7B Lady tigers faced a strong 6A program, the Lady Cougars of S.C. Lee Middle School. The first game was back and forth until late in the game when a Lady Cougar exploded for five consecutive points and managed to secure a 25-15 victory. Lady Tiger Rebekah Martinez provided great on the court leadership as always. Arianna Guzman and Lizabeth Perez stepped up to the challenge with solid performances. The second game was back and forth until late in the game when the Lady Cougars went on another run. The Cougar’s final push led them to another victory 25-16. The Lady Tigers continued with their never give up attitude and made South Belton proud. Standout performances by Dahlia Leal, Aidelyn Macias and Aliyah Tyler kept the Lady Tigers close. Next week will feature the crosstown rival, Belton Middle School and a chance for one school to capture their first win!
