The 7B Lady Tigers took to the court Thursday night against their crosstown rival Belton Middle School. In the first game, the Lady Tigers played their best game of the season but could not survive a late game rally by BMS and endured a 25-18 loss. Arianna Guzman was a solid player throughout the game with her ability to serve. Neveah Seelig and Grace Perez played an excellent game at the net. The second game quickly escaped from the Lady Tigers after BMS got off to an early lead. The Lady Tigers fought back with the solid play of Abigail Munden and Rebekah Martinez. Arianna Guzman once again lit up the scoreboard and pulled the Lady Tigers close in a 25-17 loss.
The Lady Tigers will travel to Lake Belton Middle School next Thursday to battle the Broncos.
