The South Belton Lady Tigers traveled to Lake Belton Middle School to take on their crosstown rival Lady Broncos.
The first set started out a little slow, as both teams were trying to find their serves. Eventual the two teams started getting their serves, but Lake was able to pull ahead with the lead. South fell in the first set 18-25. Paisley Davis land Analysha Moaga lead the first set in service points with five points a piece.
The second set was a back and forth battle, with much better serving from both teams. South took a lead late in the second set and came away with a 25-23 victory. Forcing a third and deciding set. Gelissa Nelson lead the team in service points with three.
In the final set, South took an early lead with some strong serving from Nelson. Unfortunately the Lady Tigers were not able to come away with a third set victory, loosing 11-15.
Nelson led the team in service points with nine. She was followed by Moaga and Davis with seven a piece. Sirin Bookhao finished the night with two service points, and Amilya Mitchell had one. Arianna Dickerson had the best night of the season at the net. She multiple blocks that created momentum swings for South.
