On Saturday, September 21, the Lady Tigers traveled to Belton High School for the BISD Middle School Volleyball tournament, securing fourth place overall with a 1-2 record. The tournament began with a decisive victory over Lamar, winning both sets with standout serves from Amari Villanueva, Jayden Burr, and Riley Kan.
Following this win, the Lady Tigers faced tough matches against Lake Belton and Bonham. Despite their best efforts, they fell short in both games. The third-place match against Bonham was particularly intense, ending with a close 20-25 loss in the final set. Amaiyah Cruz and Kayli Garcia delivered exceptional serves during this match.
The Lady Tigers have shown continuous improvement with each game and are hopeful to build on their success in future matches.
