The South Belton Lady Tigers traveled to Travis Science Academy to take on the Lady Mustangs. Analysha Moaga started the first set with a four service points, giving South an early lead. Amilya Mitchell had a great back row attack. Both teams exchanged leads through the set, unfortunately Travis was able to come away with the win 24-26. Travis came out hot in the second set, and took a lead on South. The Lady Tigers would not quit. Esmeralda Alvarado had an incredible dig to keep the rally going. They fought their way back, but were not able to come away with a victory. Falling in the second set 20-25. Leading the team in serving was Moaga with 10 service points. Paisley Davis followed up with five. Arianna Dickerson played well at the net and had the best service game of the year, coming up with three points. Sirin Bookhao's serving was consistent, and came away with two service points and Gelissa Nelson finished with one. Kendyl Walker-Espino and Madilyn Ortiz played well at the net. Lizbeth Guzman played her best serve receive game of the year.
The South Belton Lady Tigers will be back in action on Monday, October 21st for their final home game. This is a pink out game. Come on out and support these ladies as they compete against the Bullpups from Cove Junior High.
