The 8B Lady Tigers of South Belton returned to action Thursday night on the road against the Cove Junior High Lady Bullpups. The South Lady Tigers came out with a focus on defense and held Cove to zero points in the first half.
Natalie Mott took the lead on the offensive side of the ball with 12 points and Ayla Wakershauser added 10 points, Kimberly Orona four points and Markayla Allen two points. Reagan Demontigny, Mariah Johnson-Roberts, Melanie Lopez Garcia, Kayli Garcia-Jaimes, Kaleiah Robinson and Bianca Avila all contributed to a solid defensive effort. The Lady Tigers overcame late game offensive struggles and left the court with a 28-4 victory. The Lady Tigers will return to play January 23rd at home against the Lady Mustangs of Travis Science Academy. Come out to support your Lady Tigers!!!
