SBMS 8B VS TRAVIS

The 8B Lady Tigers of South Belton returned to their home court Thursday night against the Lady Mustangs of Travis Science Academy. The Lady Tigers jumped out to a early 4-1 lead and then went cold on shooting for the rest of the evening. The Lady Mustangs galloped back behind three 3-point baskets to cruise to a 30-14 win before both teams wrap up district play on Monday night. Natalie Mott took the lead on the offensive side of the ball with 5 points. Kayli Garcia-Jaimes contributed 4 points, Makayla Allen 3 points and Kimberly Orona 2 points. The Lady Tigers will return to play Monday night at North Belton Middle School against the Lady Broncos of Lake Belton. A big shout out to the 8B Lady Tigers for qualifying to the district tournament to be held February 1st. Come out to support your Lady Tigers!!!
